We ship normally within 24 HOURS after receiving payment by our office. Shipping takes 3- 5 business days though errors and delays do occur. We deliver the goods to you at your door step; our staff will get in contact with you to arrange the delivery schedule for you. Shipping charges are extra based on your location.
Please do not make arrangements with your contractor for installation until you have received the product, verified quantity and color. The distributor assumes no liability for contractor cost for errors or delays in product delivery.
Due to the weight of the product shipping is expensive and a cost that cannot be recovered so we highly recommend ordering a sample in advance of purchases to avoid unnecessary returns or come and have a look in our showroom.
Returns and Refunds
The option to return your merchandise if you are not satisfied is available. Returns must be made within 5 days of receipt of material. To qualify for a refund you must contact us at 905-412-3300. All items must be in original boxed packing as per box description. For all returns there is a 25% restocking fee. This charge is to cover the cost of shipping, restocking the merchandise. You are responsible for the shipping charges back to A GRANITO WORLD on returned merchandise. Your refund is based on the merchandise being returned in the original packaging and in good condition. Shipping Cost related to returning the merchandise is customer’s responsibility.
When you return merchandise damage in transit can occur if the tiles are not packaged properly of if the cartons are damaged in transit. Please ensure that all returns are packaged properly to avoid damage. If the original carton is compromised from the initial transit, repackaging is acceptable and recommended. Refunds are based on merchandise being returned in new condition. If tiles are damaged by the shipper during the return transit, we will refund you, less the amount of damaged tiles. It is your responsibility to file claims against the shipper for any tiles damaged during return and your claim may be compromised if the shipper inspects the damage and determines the product was not packaged properly.
There are no options for returns or refunds for installed products. Please inspect your tiles upon arrival to verify that you have received the correct product, quantity, color and that there is no damage. We will be unable to process a claim for any damages if the damage is not reported immediately.
Although we make every effort to avoid damage and provide premium packaging, damage sometimes occurs. Any damage done in the original transit is subject to the shipper’s claim procedures and is not the distributor’s responsibility. Because we will be unable to process a claim for any damages if the damage is not reported immediately, it is critical that you open and inspect all material immediately. If damage has occurred we will happily replace the damaged material. The shipper may require an inspection of the damage so you will be required to hold onto the broken tiles and original boxes for 5 business days.
Due to the characteristics of natural materials and your computer screen, the product pictured may not be exactly as is seen on your screen. The product photos and installations are chosen with the utmost responsibility to correctly represent the product but are representational only. Samples are recommended and credited towards purchase.
All products, whether stone, glass, wood or porcelain, are subject to color variations. For natural stone and pebble mosaics, variations should be expected as the product is a natural stone and the mosaics are hand made by local artisans. Color lot and size variations should be expected so we highly recommend verifying square footage and potential overage to avoid mixing color lots. Variation within the same lots is also to be expected and as such we recommend you and your installer open examine all boxes and each piece immediately upon receipt. Although every effort is made to ensure the highest quality and continuity within the product, there is no assumed or implied warranty from the manufacturer or the distributor in regards to color, size or variation.
We will make every effort to minimize any extra expense and take full advantage of our favorable rates. Rates for smaller quantities are considerably higher than for larger quantities so often there is no additional charge for larger orders.
UPS Ground and FedEx are our default shipping service, but you may also choose from one of several expedited options: 3-Day Shipping, 2-Day Shipping, Next Day Shipping. There are additional costs for these services so please call for a quote.
The material is insured by the carriers and any damage is subject to their claim procedures. UPS does not require signatures and so material will be left at your door step. You will receive tracking information so you will be aware of when delivery is scheduled.
